Employee engagement and their impact on retention: A study on the employees of IT Industry in India
Abstract
Employee engagement is an indispensable function for the smooth functioning of an organization. It plays a major role in retaining employees and binding them mentally and emotionally to their workplace. Due to globalization and rapid changes in technology, there are fluctuations and turbulence in the organizations. So, to maintain stability various employee engagement activities are being conducted by the organizations. This paper aims to study the employee engagement strategies of different IT companies and their impact on employee retention by collecting primary data from the employees of IT industry.
