ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND ENGAGEMENT
Abstract
The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought about a paradigm shift in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly in the methods employed for employee development and engagement. Organizations are increasingly adopting AI-driven technologies, including machine learning and predictive analytics, to personalize learning experiences, improve employee performance, and enhance workplace engagement. This paper examines the role of AI in transforming employee development and engagement practices within modern organizations.
The study finds that AI enables personalized training, data-driven decision-making, continuous performance monitoring, and real-time feedback, resulting in improved employee productivity, learning outcomes, and engagement levels. By leveraging intelligent systems, organizations can better identify skill gaps, recommend customized learning paths, and foster a more adaptive and efficient workforce.
The paper concludes that while AI presents significant opportunities for enhancing employee development and engagement, organizations must also address challenges related to ethical AI usage, data privacy, transparency, and human oversight to ensure responsible and sustainable implementation.
