Abstract
Emotional Intelligence Quotient is defined as a set of competencies demonstrating the ability one has to recognize his or her behavior, moods, and impulses, and to manage them best according to the situation. The ability of leaders to recognize both interpersonal and intrapersonal emotions and then react appropriately will depend on their own level of emotional intelligence (ED). The success of organizational effectiveness is greatly enhanced through the leaders use of mononally intelligent competencies which are embodied in their emotionally intelligent behavior (ETBs).
