Scope of Cloud Infrastructure in Optimising MSMEs’ Business Environment

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises frequently face limited financial resources, weak IT infrastructure, cybersecurity risks, operational inefficiencies, and restricted market access. This paper examines how cloud-based solutions can improve MSME operations through scalability, cost reduction, flexibility, efficient data management, business continuity, and digital transformation. It also identifies barriers to cloud adoption and presents strategic recommendations for Indian MSMEs. The analysis finds that cloud infrastructure can improve efficiency, decision-making, customer relations, and competitiveness.
